How We Work
RL Hayes specializes in custom home renovations, ranging from bathroom and kitchen updates, to adding room additions, to whole house renovations.
Our Process:
Initial Consultation - A RL Hayes Project Coordinator will listen to your needs and concerns and answer your questions. The initial consultation will determine if RL Hayes is a good fit for your project needs.
Design Agreement - If RL Hayes is chosen to work on your project, you will sign a Design Agreement, which allows us to begin developing the conceptual plans and budget. There will be a retainer required, depending upon the scope and size of the project. In this initial planning phase, we're able to determine the feasibility of the project in relation to your budget with minimal cost and time invested. If the initial conceptual design and estimate meet your expectations, the next step is to coordinate all the details of your project. This includes generating construction documents, finalizing selections, scheduling and value engineering. Through this process we are able to determine the "fixed price" of your project before construction begins and uncover conditions that may affect your final price.
Construction Agreement - The construction agreement is authorization to begin work on your project. It expresses in detail the scope of work and includes a production schedule, draw schedule, product cut sheets and final plans. When this agreement is signed we collect your construction deposit and agree on a start date.
Construction Process - This is where RL Hayes really separates ourselves from the competition. We make the entire experience as painless as possible. Your project will be completed smoothly and quickly with minimal surprises.
How We Ensure Success:
Full-Time Project Management - A qualified and experienced Project Manager is assigned to your project until completion.
Detailed Scope of Work - This allows us to begin your project with all selections and decisions made in advance. RL Hayes ensures that all materials are in stock or on order prior to starting the project to prevent delays.
Production Schedule - A thorough schedule is produced prior to the start of construction. The Project Manager and client have a copy of the schedule, so you'll have peace of mind knowing what work will be done on a daily basis.
Weekly Meetings - Beginning approximately one week prior to the start of your project, Project Manager will meet with you on a weekly basis to discuss progress and details of your project.
Follow Through - When you make the decision to use RL Hayes you're a client for life. We've built our business on repeat clients and referrals. Our success depends not just on making you happy, but making you a "Raving Fan" of RL Hayes.
We hope you choose RL Hayes for your renovation project. We understand a decision of this magnitude requires careful consideration and promise to exceed your expectations.
